2018 Reserves Coach appointed.

MATTHEW Foster has been appointed to the role of Reserves Coach at the Wyndhamvale Football Club for season 2018. 'Busta' returns to the Falcons where he was a key member of the 2014 Reserves Premiership both through the midfield as a player and as an assistant coach.

As a player, Matthew played more than 300 WRFL matches, including a Division 1 Reserves premiership with the Sunshine Kangaroos in 2011.

Foster has a range of coaching experience. He joined the Vales coaching group as Reserves Assistant for seasons 2014 and 2015 before taking on the Senior Assistant role with Tarneit in 2016. More recently, Foster put his energy into family and junior coaching, leading his son Shaun's team (Werribee Centrals) to the 2017 premiership.

The fire is burning again for another big crack at senior success from the coaches box. Foster said "I'm very excited to be back at the Vales for an opportunity to coach such a young team. My aim will be to develop this young group and as a whole club cement our position as a club."

WFC Senior Coach, Daniel Bunworth said "It's great to have a well respected person back at the club. I'm looking forward to working with Busta once again to continue to develop the young playing list that we have into an extremely competitive unit."

Matthew is a father of three and no doubt young Anthea, Damon and Shaun would be extremely proud of Dad and excited for the year ahead.

The WFC Committee would like to thank Nathan Evans for his tireless work coaching our reserves group this past season. Ev is thrilled to pass the keys to the midday show to his premiership teammate in Foster "It is amazing news to have a premiership player return to the club to take on reserves coaching role. He displays discipline, hardness and a great footy mind to advance our young group through to the next stage of their footy life at the nest. Great addition Busta."

WFC will be making further list announcements in the coming weeks.

On behalf of all at the Falcons, good luck Busta and to the reserves group for what shapes as an exciting 2018 season ahead.
