Meet the new Coaching Director

The Wyndhamvale Football Club is pleased to announce that Luke Wenlock will take on the role of Coaching Director for Season 2018.

Luke's coaching career began in 1993 at Newport where he coached U/12s while still playing senior football. From there, he became a playing Assistant Coach with the Newport Seniors, winning a premiership in 1995.

In 1998 Luke took on the U/18 coaching position at Altona where he spent two seasons, and coached the team to preliminary finals. He then stepped up to Reserves Coach & Senior Assistant Coach, and again took his side into the finals.

After a break from coaching, Luke went back to junior footy with Little River for two years, where his U/12 side had one undefeated season. He then spent four seasons with the Werribee Districts Football Club from 2013 to 2016, during which he was a premiership coach on two occasions.

For the last nine years, Luke has also coached football and lead programs with Reclink Australia - a non-profit organisation whose mission is to provide and promote sport and art programs for people experiencing disadvantage.

Luke joined the Wyndhamvale Football Club in 2017 as the U/19s Coach.
