THANK YOU CAM

The Wyndhamvale Football Club would like to thank Cameron Evans for his dedication, hard work and support over the past 2 years, as he has decided to step down from his position as Coach of our Reserves side.

The impact Cam has had since his appointment in 2021 has been immense to say the least. Returning to the club he played for, Cam took charge of a side who hadn’t played finals since 2015. In no time, he galvanised the group and drove improvement each and every week, culminating in a memorable finals series in 2022 where the boys beat every team above them to win the premiership. In the 2023 season, Cam again led an improved outfit which saw the Reserves finish second on the ladder only to fall short in the Grand Final. Amongst that, he has helped the club off field in player recruitment and acquisition of sponsors.

We sincerely thank Cam for the massive impact he has had on our football program as a player, assistant and coach – and we wish him all the best for the future! A big thanks also to Sammy, Trav and Evo for their help as Assistant Coaches the past 2 years.
